Essential High-speed PCB Design for Signal Integrity Overview
Overview
Most digital integrated circuits have fast edge speeds, and their effects have to be considered in PCB
design to maintain signal integrity, even at modest clock speeds.
This new course, created by Analytical Edge, uses fundamental physical and engineering principles to enable the engineer or PCB designer to understand and apply the principles of high-speed design for ensure signal integrity.
The basic techniques developed can be applied immediately to improve PCB design, without the use of EDA signal integrity tools, but the course also provides a much-needed foundation for understanding how to benefit from these tools.
Duration
The workshop is based around a 3-day agenda, although it can be combined with
the Minimizing EMI course to create a 5-day agenda.
We can also offer standard or customized versions of this workshop onsite or at the location of your choice.
Objectives
- Provide a sound knowledge of the fundamental concepts of PCB design.
- To teach you a toolkit of practical techniques which you can immediately
apply to benefit your designs.
- To give you the knowledge to approach your PCB design project with confidence.
Prerequisites
Delegates should be familiar with basic electrical concepts. No prior knowledge of PCB design
tools is required or assumed.
